With Spy Hunter 2 only a few months away from hitting the console market, Spy Hunter's fundamentals are strong enough to have made the game enjoyable on the PC-but the graphics and the gameplay have been compromised too much in the transition. Spy Hunter is an action/driving game. It places the player as the driver of a G-6155 CIA Prototype Interceptor sports car. The object of the game is to travel the freeways and waterways, hunting down and destroying as many enemy vehicles as possible, all the while not harming civilian vehicles.
You’re still in the cool little spy car and you still travel up the highway which is still in the middle of some part of the desert, somewhere. Along the way you’ll see the usual road hogs, such as the bullet proof car and the motorcycle. Occasionally you might get a pick up which contains machine guns and you can shoot certain cars.
Your car will speed up as it gets further along the track which means it will get more difficult without changing the game play which is something more of a challenge than learning new skills. That’s always something good.

All in all, this is a simple little Spy Hunter game which may be enjoyed by a few.
It does a good job of representing what Spy Hunter is. Its not about the graphics its about the gameplay. I think this game gets a bad rep because it isn't the high graphic games where used to. Overall it was great. Hope to see some more good remakes.
Don't bother downloading it. There is only one control, making gameplay close to impossible to even get a minute into the game. Also, as Gohst said, the logo blocks your path, making it difficult to see incoming cars and pick-ups.
